Lacey is the creator and founder of the Obsidian® Slide Board. She also owns and operates Obsidian® Fitness in Millcreek, Utah. She is a Registered Nurse, a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, and most importantly, mom of 3 girls (including twins)!
Lacey has taught group fitness classes for 20 years and has been a certified personal trainer for 15 years. She developed the Obsidian® Slide Board 14 years ago after recognizing the need for a low impact, but high intensity workout option. Lacey had clients and family members with injuries that kept them from running, jumping and performing plyometrics without sustaining further injury. In response, she created a product and workout system for anyone from beginners to skilled athletes could do without hurting their joints! She developed hundreds of total body workouts using the Obsidian® Slide Board by combining cardio, resistance training, core, balance, and flexibility all designed to burn mega calories! Lacey created the workouts to be different than any other workout you’ve experienced before. Unlike traditional exercises which are mostly front-to-back (running, lifting weights, cycling), you are moving side-to-side. As a result, you can target those accessory muscles which will not only strengthen and tone… but will help you become more efficient in the day to day activities you enjoy.
